Café-Style Mocha Latte
Share
Rich chocolate meets bold roast.
A true mocha latte is comfort in its most delicious form — rich, smooth, and a little bit indulgent.
Made with our Mocha Coffee, this drink delivers café-level flavor at home, balancing deep cocoa notes with creamy milk and a touch of sweetness.
What You’ll Need
-
Coffee Base: 2 shots espresso or ½ cup strong brewed Mocha Coffee
-
Milk: 1 cup whole milk or milk alternative
-
Chocolate: 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup or 1 oz melted dark chocolate
-
Sweetener: 1 teaspoon sugar or to taste
-
Toppings: Whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or a sprinkle of cocoa
How to Make It
1. Brew the Coffee
Brew your Mocha Coffee strong — this roast is naturally smooth and chocolate-forward, making it ideal for lattes.
2. Prepare the Chocolate Base
In a mug, combine chocolate syrup (or melted chocolate) and sugar.
Pour in the hot coffee and stir until fully blended into a silky mocha base.
3. Steam and Froth the Milk
Warm the milk until it’s steaming, then froth to a creamy consistency.
If you’re whisking by hand, small, tight bubbles make the perfect latte foam.
4. Combine and Serve
Pour the steamed milk over your mocha base, stirring gently as the layers mix.
Top with whipped cream and finish with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder.
Pro Tips
-
Balance the Sweetness: Start with 1 tsp of sugar and adjust — the focus should be on the coffee.
-
Go Dark: For extra richness, use bittersweet or dark chocolate instead of syrup.
-
Iced Version: Brew double-strength Mocha Coffee, pour over ice, and stir in milk and chocolate syrup.
Why It Works
Our Mocha Coffee is roasted to enhance chocolate’s natural depth — smooth, slightly nutty, and never bitter.
When paired with real cocoa, it creates a café-quality drink that’s simple, elegant, and endlessly satisfying.
